Today I declare I am blonde

Last night I went to bed semi early trying to prepare for today. I woke up nervous, went to class, and hurried home to rush to LA for my CBEST test. I showed up right on time to be told I was early. 4 weeks early to be exact. Yup, I must be blonde.
But today has truly been a fabulous day. I have spent the day with my wonderful husband and Jacob, mostly driving, but also walking around Santa Monica eating some decent food, laughing at the people, and sincerely enjoying each other. I love my family so much and I don't think it was an accident that today happened. Although I am not proud of my blondness, I am happy to be blessed with the men in my life!

Push,Push,Push

I think push push push is going to be my motto this quarter. Yesterday marked the first day of my final full quarter as an undergraduate. 10 weeks ahead of me and victory is so close I can taste it. I can see it. I can feel it. I do have a class to take in summer but it almost feels like that doesn't count. I know it does and I will hold my degree proudly after it, but the finish line really feels like this quarter to me. Getting through it will be the biggest hurdle to get over.
I am also pushing myself physically this quarter. I was already motivated but there is more to it now with a close friend getting married in July and I wanna buy whatever dress I want. So yesterday I went to Zumba. The instructor didn't show, but I worked myself anyway. Today marks the day of my first spin class. Holy moly I am sore already and I haven't even left the parking lot. But I did it. And I finished strong.
Thank you to my supporters for continually cheering me on. Hopefully I don't loose my push, but I hope that in times that I loose it, you all will give me the nudge I need to push on.

March is Flying!

Our roller coaster continues and I, like usual, am a little late posting the last couple weeks adventures. Really the last couple weeks have been extra crazy. This week is finals week for me and I have only one left, and it is a group presentation so I am pretty much done with this quarter. Last week was crazy work wise for me. I worked my normal schedule plus an extra 24 hours in 2 days, so needless to say I have been tired.... but as usual I am pushing through.

A couple weeks ago we took a day trip over to the beach and just had a
day of playing in the sand. I wish the beach was just around the corner and we could do it more often cause it was so relaxing. I need more days like that. Christian had a ball putting his feet in the water, playing with rocks and shells, building sand castles, and even writing his name in the sand. Jacob played in the sand, too, but he didn't go near the water. Every time one of us would start walking that way he would scream "No, don't go, its too cold!" He was pretty funny. Here are some of the pictures from our trip.

The Talking Stick

This past weekend we took Jacob to his first play. We told him what we were doing and he kept saying, "We are going to play." All I could imagine was he was going to walk into the theatre and think it was a different kind of playground. It was a children's production and he was wonderful and had a great time. After the show we were able to get up close and see/touch the animals.

A pirate birthday!

This past weekend we went to Christians "girlfriend" birthday party. I love how social my kids are and how they enjoy friendships. They had a good time, for sure. Happy birthday, Ms. Chloe!
Here are some pictures I took...

Trying something new

I know keeping up with a blog isn't the easiest of tasks, but neither is keeping up with 100 people on Facebook. Let's be real, not all 100 of those people care about my life and frankly, I don't care 100% about everyone else's either. There is a good handful of people that care, want to keep up with me, the boys, and what we are doing. So for now, this is where I am going to post. And for my family and friends, let's get back to the good ol' days of communicating for real. I'll call you, you call me. Let's meet up for lunch if you're close by or pass through. If you'd like to send me an email please feel free. Christiansmomma20@gmail.com
Calling is even better. 661-496-2799.
Hope if you're my friend you're on board and I look forward to talking to you soon!

Why does the holiday season always fly by?? I don't even know where this year has gone...

Well Christian is still not walking... he has taken one step three different times, but he is still more interested in crawling.

This last month has been overly crazy though! He is such a little boy that loves trucks and being a dare devil... he climbs up the stairs when I turn around and then stands up on the balcony and shakes the bars and pretends like he is going to jump down... ug! Scary! And then he loves to play in his room... probably the main reason he goes upstairs so much! He has big tonka trucks that he pushes around his room and he has little cars that he drives around a rug track. Yeah, he is a boy!

We also got the privilege of having another little boy around for a weekend this month! It was so much fun! Tyler and Christian are little buddies that play and mimic each other and just have a great time. It is hard to imagine that anyone would ever only want one child! Tyler and Christian are just 6 months apart and they are just so cute together.... here are some pictures to show it!

High Five Victor!

Ah! Yeah, he likes to be loud!
